Antique Italian Micro-mosaic brooch finely crafted in high carat gold. Exceptionally detailed Micro-mosaic features a dome centering a multicolored tesserae image of two white love doves with green laurel leaves amidst a cobalt blue background outlined in teal red and white triangular tile gold bead frame and fine rope-twist border further framed by tile pattern quartered by gold beads with outer rings. This truly artistic piece is in excellent condition despite a few tesserae tiles missing.
The pin was added at a later date pendant-loop missing. Great collectors item.
